Sammy Hagar

Sammy Hagar (born 1947) is an American rock singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He first gained major attention as the lead vocalist of the hard rock band Montrose in the 1970s before launching a successful solo career. Hagar later became widely known as the lead singer of Van Halen, joining the group in the mid-1980s and recording multiple albums with them.
