Shereen El Feki

Shereen El Feki is an Egyptian-British writer, journalist, and broadcaster whose work focuses on health, sexuality, and social change in the Arab world. She is the author of *Sex and the Citadel: Intimate Life in a Changing Arab World* (2013), based on extensive reporting and interviews across the region. El Feki has written and presented for major international media, including the BBC and *The Economist*. She has also served in global health leadership, including as vice chair of the board of the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS). Her work bridges public health, policy, and cultural analysis, bringing personal stories into wider debates.
