Sophia Loren

Sophia Loren (born Sofia Villani Scicolone; September 20, 1934) is an Italian actress and singer who became an international film star. She rose to prominence in the 1950s and appeared in numerous Italian and Hollywood productions. Loren won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in *Two Women* (1960), becoming the first actor to win an Oscar for a non-English-language performance.
