Steve Case

Steve Case (Stephen McConnell Case) is an American entrepreneur and author best known as the co-founder and former CEO of America Online (AOL). He helped build AOL into a major consumer internet company during the early growth of online services in the United States. After leaving AOL, he became chairman and CEO of Revolution LLC, an investment firm focused on supporting emerging companies. Case is also the author of *The Third Wave: An Entrepreneur’s Vision of the Future*, a book that examines the next phase of internet-driven innovation and the ways technology will intersect with regulated industries. He has also been involved in philanthropy and initiatives to expand entrepreneurship across the country.
