Suzy Bogguss

Suzy Bogguss (born Susan Kay Bogguss, December 30, 1956) is an American country music singer and songwriter. Raised in Illinois, she moved to Nashville to pursue music and signed with Capitol Records in the late 1980s. Bogguss broke through with the 1989 single “Outbound Plane,” followed by a run of early-1990s hits including “Someday Soon,” “Letting Go,” and “Drive South.” Her 1991 album *Aces* earned major acclaim and won the Grammy Award for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals for “Same Old Train” (with several artists). Known for clear, traditional-leaning vocals, she has continued recording and touring across decades.
