Tim Allen

Tim Allen (born Timothy Alan Dick, June 13, 1953) is an American actor, comedian, and author. He rose to prominence as the star of the ABC sitcom *Home Improvement* (1991–1999), earning a Golden Globe for his performance. Allen is also widely known as the voice of Buzz Lightyear in Pixar’s *Toy Story* film series. He later starred in the sitcom *Last Man Standing* (2011–2021) and headlined films including *The Santa Clause* (1994). As an author, he wrote the humor memoir *Don’t Stand Too Close to a Naked Man* (1994) and *I’m Not Really Here* (1996).
