Tom Peters

Thomas J. Peters is an American business management writer and consultant best known for co-authoring *In Search of Excellence* (1982) with Robert H. Waterman Jr. The book, based on research at McKinsey & Company, became a landmark work in management literature. Peters later co-wrote *A Passion for Excellence* (1985) with Nancy Austin and authored *Thriving on Chaos* (1987), continuing his focus on leadership, organizational culture, and adapting to rapid change. He has also written widely on customer service, innovation, and the importance of people in building effective organizations, and he has worked as a speaker and advisor to companies and public-sector organizations.
