Warren Buffett

Warren Buffet was born in 1930 in Omaha, Nebraska, the only son of U.S. Representative Howard Buffet. As a child, Buffet showed interest in making money and even started investing in the stock market. In 1951, he earned a Master of Science in economics from Columbia and started working as an investment salesman. He went on to work as a securities analyst and stockbroker, opened various partnerships, and started making investments. By 1962, he was a millionaire. In 1990, Buffet became a billionaire as a result of his investments, including Berkshire Hathaway, of which he is the chairman, CEO, and primary shareholder. He is consistently ranked as one of the world’s wealthiest people.
