Watchman Nee

Watchman Nee (Ni Tuosheng, 1903–1972) was a Chinese Christian teacher and church leader. He became a prominent figure in the “Little Flock” movement in China and helped establish networks of independent local churches emphasizing New Testament patterns of church life. After the establishment of the People’s Republic of China, he was arrested in 1952 and spent the remainder of his life in prison. He died in 1972.
