Wendy Mass

Wendy Mass is an American author known for children’s and middle-grade fiction. She wrote *A Mango-Shaped Space* (2003), a novel featuring a protagonist with synesthesia, and *The Candymakers* (2009), centered on a candy-making competition. Mass has also written the Willow Falls series, beginning with *11 Birthdays* (2009), and co-authored the “The Last Present” books with her husband, author Michael Brawer. Her work often blends realistic themes with imaginative premises and has been widely read in schools and libraries. Mass’s books have appeared on children’s reading lists and have been translated into multiple languages.
