Willard Scott

Willard Scott (1934–2021) was an American broadcaster and television personality. He began his career in radio and later became known for portraying Ronald McDonald in the character’s early years. Scott gained national recognition on NBC’s *Today* show, where he served as the program’s weatherman for many years and became a familiar, genial presence to morning viewers.
