It's okay to applaud the laws of physics.

Additional Information: This quote is from visualizer Jared Ficklin's 2012 TED Talk in which he presents visualizations of different sounds. In the beginning of the Talk, Ficklin demonstrates a Rubens' tube, a device that shows the different amplitude of sounds as represented by flames of varying heights. After demonstrating how the Rubens' tube reacts to a sound, the audience begins to applaud, rather hesitantly. Ficklin then encourages the audience's applause by saying, "It's okay to applaud the laws of physics." The quote elicits laughter from the audience.
