Envy

It’s hard not to feel envious sometimes. A nicer house, a newer car, a more impressive paycheck—in a culture where so much depends on status and stuff, it’s easy to get competitive. But envy is an unhealthy and often immature response and stem from the need to ‘beat’ the competition. And as our quotes point out, it’s a vicious cycle that leads to nothing but negativity and frustration.
